Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: August 24, 2026

First Camp does not currently publish affiliate links or earn commissions from purchases.

No Amazon Associate or other affiliate links are active in this version of the site.

If affiliate links are added later

First Camp will clearly identify affiliate links and update this page before they are enabled. If a visitor makes a qualifying purchase through a future affiliate link, First Camp may earn a commission at no extra cost to that visitor.

How recommendations are chosen

First Camp aims to recommend only equipment appropriate to the trip described, and it frequently recommends borrowing or skipping gear. Future affiliate compensation will not determine whether an item belongs on the checklist.

Prices and availability

Retailer prices, stock and product details can change. Confirm the current information on the retailer's website before purchasing.

Your choice

You are never required to use an affiliate link. You may search for the same item directly, buy locally or borrow it instead.
